Origami: the art of obtaining, by folding a sheet of paper several times according to precise geometric patterns, figures of people, flowers, animals. But not only. This millenary technique is in fact also used by Procart Design to protect the most varied objects during transport and to create packaging with an eye to the “line”.
The modern origami technique involves a few types of folds combined in an infinite variety of methods to create even extremely complex models. If you have ever had a small origami in your hands, you will surely have been struck by the solidity of these small creations, even if made with an apparently very fragile material. Here, the cardboard boxes created by Procart with this technique take this resistance to a higher level.
This is the case of this box made for a line of hair products. The customer receives a flat sheet, which is shaped after inserting the support for the brush and the two products, and with a few simple gestures a windowed box will take shape ready to be marketed. All without the use of glues, but only with a game of interlocking designed on the example of the ancient Japanese masters.
